Nellie Naydenova bone marrow transplant support

Many of you know that Nellie has been fighting chronic leukemia for the last 18 years. She has been through many rounds of chemo, hospitalizations, surgeries, and emergency room visits dealing with the illness and associated treatments, without ever slowing down or skipping a beat.

To be eligible for a transplant Nellie had to respond to the chemo, go into remission, and then have a perfectly matched donor willing and able to donate bone marrow.

So far, and by God’s grace, she has been able to prove wrong those who thought she might not survive the chemo. She has also been able to overcome the unfavorable odds of achieving remission. Now the International Bone Marrow Registry has identified not one, but two perfect matches who are able and willing to donate their marrow to save Nellie’s life! 

A wise person once stated, “If there is a will, there is a way!” Nellie has shown a very strong will to overcome the cancer and live. The challenge now remaining is to raise the funds necessary for the transplant and hospitalization. Any contributions, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated!
