Neighborhood House Needs A Ride!

Neighborhood House is a fully-accredited, non-profit early childhood education center, and we are committed to providing the children of Plainfield with a strong academic foundation, personal development, and a sense of stability. We’re asking that you partner with us today in support of that goal.
Today, we’re kicking off our annual fundraising campaign for #GivingTuesday and we’re raising money for a new school bus. As our current school bus quickly approaches retirement, we are looking to upgrade to an air-conditioned vehicle that will accommodate our children with asthma and we need your help!
Please consider donating as our bus is used to support and assist parents whose work schedules require an after school program for their children and also to bring students to an array of enrichment and skill-building activities such as educational trips, swimming lessons, golf clinics, camping, roller skating, cultural events, farm visits, and more. Unfortunately, our current bus is often in need of repair to keep our children completely safe.
About Neighborhood House:
For the past 70 years, the Neighborhood House has been a place of safety, stability, learning and growth for thousands of children and families in the Plainfield community. Neighborhood House is a fully accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and many of the families that we serve are economically challenged.
We are proud to provide the following services and programs to deserving children and families:
-High quality, affordable and year-round child care and education for over 230 children between the ages of 2 months and 12 years
-An infant and toddler program for 2 months to 2.5 years where our specially trained teachers assist in the development of language, motor and social skills
-An after-school program that offers homework support and tutoring in literacy and math
-A school-aged summer camp where children receive educational instruction and participate in enriching physical activities such as swimming, golf, tennis, roller skating, and more!
