Great news! Glass-necked fretless guitarist and singer/songwriter Ned Evett has been working on a new album simply called “Nashville”.

Ned says: “I want to put out an album of all new material that uses my hands in new and creative ways, and I also wanted to showcase my new Sliding Glass Capo invention on record for the first time.”

“Nashville” features Ned playing Glass-necked fretless guitar, piano, mandolin, and bass guitar. The twelve songs on the album were co-written with lyricist Cherian Jubilee.

Ned says: “The co-writing process with Cherian has created some really interesting songs. “Radio Dreams” is about a DJ and a female Country singer moving to Nashville together to seek fame. “Painting a Burning House” is about a married couple in crisis, as a house painter paints their house fire engine red. “Don’t Do Nothing At All” is about when the Devil tells you not to fight back against addiction.” “One More Wedding Bell” is a song about accepting that the girl of your dreams is really the girl of her own reality.”

The album is being mixed by Grammy award winning engineer Ryan Hewitt (Lumineers, Johnny Cash, Joe Cocker ) Several of the tracks include Brad Paisley’s pedal steel ace, Randle Currie.
