Back at the end of October 2018, my older brother and I were evicted from our apartment in Laurel, MD. We've been hopping from place to place ever since. We don't own a car and public transportation is getting expensive. It takes $300/week just to get to work and back.
We barely have enough for food and all the bills we are currently paying. I'm also in school and have just started paying for my own insurance. Our mother had passed away about 11 years ago, and our father is barely in the picture since we moved out.
After half a year of going between family and friends, we just want a place of our own again and no longer be a burden.
