Ben Baker Whalley's Fight......

I’m sure over the last week the community has heard the devastating news of Ben's fight.  Ben is a beautiful 15 year old young man who is a great sportsman and an all round good kid.

Last week the family were given the news that no family should have to hear.  Ben has been diagnosed with 2 tumors in his brain and he is going to need extensive medical treatment starting off with chemotherapy.
Ben's treatment is going to last at least 6 months or longer and as a community we need to get behind this family.

His parents Vicky and Shane and his sister's Emma and Issy are huge part of our community and are always there for others.

It is our time to pay it forward.  With the constant bills such as accomodation, travel, food and every day living it is going to be tough.

Ben is a fighter but this family does not need any extra burden so we need to take action now.  They need security and somewhere for Ben and his family to stay and recuperate between treatments as his immunity will be low.

This family is amazing, this young man is amazing.  Let’s come together and give them all the love and support that they in turn have given their community.

I know there are many people that are going to get behind them in many different ways but lets kick this off by reaching out and helping them now.
