NDAFC Tigers run for Disabled Surfers Association
Donation protected
This year the Northern District Tigers AFL club are running the City2Surf in order to raise funds for the Disabled Surfers Association.
The DSA is a volunteer organisation that gives people with disabilities a chance to experience the beach and surf for the day. Our clubs have a very close association, several years ago we donated around $8000 to the DSA to buy new wheelchairs , whilst they have been very active in supporting our fundraising efforts.
The DSA doesn’t receive any government funding, so they totally rely on community help to raise money and buy equipment!
Even a small donation of $10 means a participant can join in the days without having to pay an entry fee.
