Nicholson Catholic Coilege's Jamaica Mission Team 2018
Every 2 years the Mission team from Nicholson Catholic College travels to Jamaica. This group is made up of students in grades 11 & 12 and is accompanied by staff volunteers.
The main purpose of the trip is to build homes for those who require a hand up.
We work closley with the organization Food For The Poor .
This year the Team has been asked to build a 2nd home for a family of 6. We were informed of this additional need on January 23rd and the team is set to leave on March 5th.
The extra home will cost $7200 US, of which we still need to raise $5000 US (~$6500 CAD).
All funds raised will be used to build the home! Any additional funds raised will be donated to the following organizations which the team is supporting during our trip:
* St. Patrick’s Foundation – St. Margaret’s School, St.
* Monica’s Home, Christ the Redeemer
* Callaloo Mews School
* Fabian Brown and the Jamaica All Stars
* Food for the Poor
