Big or small , Be kind to all . Please help

On 12/19/18 My wife was coming home from doing some shopping . She noticed cars slowing down and going around a dog out front of our house . We live on a very busy road. So she went and got the dog . After a day of searching for the owner , We soon found her with the help of a small town and Facebook(someone recognized the pup) , The woman replied and made it very clear she did not want the dog and abandoned her. And Has since stopped communicating with us . The reason for the go fund me is because , The 8 month old puppy has a severely Broken tail. And does not deserve to go back to her previous home . She cannot lift it to use the restroom which causes a lot of difficulties for her and us . We would like to rehabilitate this pup and get surgery for her tail , and spayed .

UPDATE**** THE EAST LINCOLN ANIMAL HOSPITAL HAS OFFERED TO DO THE SURGERY FOR A AFFORDABLE PRICE. I AM HAPPY TO SAY THE NEEDS FOR THE DOG ARE ALMOST MET and I am lowering the fund amount to the price of surgery , meds , and after surgery needs. Will update Friday after her pre surgery check up .
