Hit & Run (Nathan's Prosthetic and Surgical Fund)

Nathan’s life changed on 6/26/2019. He was involved in a hit and run motorcycle accident in Austin, TX. The driver of the vehicle was driving in the wrong direction of the turnaround, hitting Nathan, fleeing the scene on foot. Leaving him alone without rendering aid to him. Someone did come to help him, we don’t know who this “angel” is but we are very grateful to this person. ️ Nathan would have bled out had this “angel” not called 911.

HIS INJURIES:
Nathan suffered extensive damage to his left side of his body, which cost him:
•loss of his foot
•amputation of leg-below the knee
•fractures in left femur
•fractures in left forearm
•fracture to the neck
Nathan had 5 surgeries. He was released on 07/09/19 to go home to recover and prepare for a bone marrow/graft surgery in 4-8 weeks. Recovery time will be 6-9 months possibly a year. We are praying for a GOD SPEED RECOVERY ️Lastly, fitted for prosthetic & rehabilitate for 10 days in a facility to prepare for the use of his prosthesis.
ABOUT NATHAN:
He & his family are from Hobbs, NM and have lived in Texas for the past 14 yrs.
If you know Nathan, you know that he’s warm & loving, a hard worker, and has a love for the outdoors. This has been a very traumatic life changing experience.
