Nate's Memorial for Bryce Barker

Hi! My name is Nate Soldwisch, I'm a junior in high school from Indianola Iowa, a Boy Scout, and was a close friend to Bryce Samuel Barker.
I'm raising money so that I can create a memorial for my friend Bryce. On August 19th he ended his own life and left family and friends behind who loved him. For my Eagle Scout project I was considering to create a trail and benches or beautify an area, but it hit me how much more meaningful it would feel to create something in his name, something that me and others who are mourning can be comforted by.
I want to create a memorial at my school in his name and in awareness of those who have depression and committed suicide like him. It will be located in the Indianola High School Courtyard.
The money will be used to fund my Eagle Scout project in which I'll be buying and installing a fountain in his and others names, plaques for remembrance and awareness, and to buy supplies needed to clean and fix up the courtyard it will be located in.
This project will me so much to me, his friends, and his family. It'll allow us to look at something in remembrance of him that we can be proud of, something that we can hope will help others through losses and depression. Being able to feel like I've left a mark in his name is what I feel like I need to do, I know that he would have wanted something in his name and I plan on doing that.
If the money is raised I will be outright ecstatic that people we're willing to donate to this project and help me. Having people help me out in creating this would be one of the greatest things I can imagine. I know that I can't do this without the help of people's donations so any money that is donated will be appreciated so much!
Also if any money is left over from this project after everything is said and done it will be donated to the Bryce Barker Graduation Fund helping high schoolers pay for their futures!
