It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nate Davenport on July 3rd 2018. Nate was a devoted African American classical musician in Philadelphia for over 40 years.
In recent years, with the passing of his mother and brother as well as losing his home, Nate fell on hard times. Nate is the last surviving member of his family and needs our help. Nate was an outstanding teacher and member of the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz . We are asking for your support to help with his homegoing service to be held at the Philadelphia Clef Club on Thursday, August 23rd at 6pm.
