Napoleon’s Road to Recovery

Donation protected
This past Friday, my best friend Napoleon got away from me. As a husky, he loves to run. Unfortunately he was abruptly stopped by the busy traffic on State Street in Springfield.

He was struck by a large car, and that car did not stop. I was right behind him luckily and able to carry him home. From there I rushed him to the emergency vet, not knowing if he would make it.

Napoleon was considered critical Friday night while we were with him from 7 pm -2 am. He was suffering from head trauma, a collapsed lung, internal bleeding, contusions, and lacerations. After two nights in the hospital he is home, and stable, but has a long road of recovery.

I am so happy to have him home but as many pet owners do, I agreed to any and all procedures that they thought would help him. I made the right choice in doing so, but unfortunately agreed to pay amounts of money that I do not have. I am hoping to reach out to anyone that thinks they could help. And for those of you that think you are unable to help, just sharing this link would be huge for us. Thank you for hearing our story.
