Phil Graham Memorial and Support

Known as Phil to friends and family, and "D" to his children, John Philip Graham was a great father, husband and friend. He passed away on September 18th, 2015 leaving behind his wife Kathy, three sons (Chris, Adam, Eric) a daughter in law (Jessica) and two grandchildren (Aiston and Evelyn).

At this challenging time our family is reaching out to friends, family and the community for financial support to cover the unforseen medical costs and other expenses that present themselves when a loved one passes.

Phil Graham was well loved in the Jacksonville Beach community especially amongst the families, faculty and staff at Montessori Tides School. Kathy Graham founded Montessori Tides School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 1986 and grew the school to what it is today. In 2000 my dad retired from working with Duval County Schools and began work at Montessori Tides full time. He continued working there as a volunteer even after he retired.

In 2011, Kathy Graham sold Montessori Tides School to the parent/staff duo Brad and Nancy Hatton. Both Phil and Kathy continued working at MTS upon the sale of the school and Kathy is still there today.

Phil Graham has touched the lives of so many through his volunteer work and also his love of nature photography. Upon retirement Phil discovered a love for bird photography and developed into a talented photo naturalist. He even established a blog to share his pictures and birding adventures.
