Make a sick kid smile at Christmas

My name is Randieh Kassouf, and I'm 11 years old. I am so blessed to be healthy, happy and always smiling. A lot of kids don't have these blessings because they are sick and they forgot how to smile. This is why my main idea is to see all the sick kids smile :). Christmas is my favorite Holiday of the year. I feel happy and I wait for it to exchange presents with my parents, family and friends. We eat, we laugh, we play games and .........we smile. I smile and so do my sister Marie-Belle and my brother Georges. We all smile.
I thought this out loud and shared my idea with my parents, my brother and my sister. This is when my older brother Georges, who is 14, came to me and said "We can do it Randieh". Let's open a gofundme account and set a goal to buy presents for sick kids on Christmas.
I smiled and started to get so excited about it and started seriously talking to my mom, dad, family and friends.
We can't do it alone, but all of us can, if we work together. Every little donation will help make a kid smile, so let's all help put a smile on a sick kid's face.
And not to forget, that I am only 11 and my brother is 14. Our parents approved it and offered all their help and support. Our priest, father Rodolph Wakim of Our Lady of Victory Maronite Catholic Church blessed it and approved it also.
With his blessings, the support of the Maronite Youth Group, and our community, I am sure we will be able to do it. We will be able to put a smile on sick kids' faces.
My mother got on the phone and started calling hospitals in our area, and we were able to arrange to do this with Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
My idea was to be a Santa Family and, have me dress up as Santa and deliver those gifts to the sick kids, because I wanted to see them smile. The hospital's regulations however, do not allow for that. Instead, with the money we raise, we will buy the toys and deliver them to the hospital and their staff will deliver them to the kids.
Hey Kids, be ready, cause Santa is coming to you this Christmas, so SMILE!!!
And remember, a smile a day, keeps the doctor away!
