ile's Brain Balance Program Fund

My name is Brandye Dague, mother of Ile (I-Lee).
I write today on behalf of my daughter, ile, who recently was assessed at: http://www.brainbalancecenters.com/locations/canton/
The results of the assessment show that she has a brain imbalance (her left hemisphere is functioning at a much higher rate than her right).  She is not dealing w/ Autism or any form of it - THANK GOD!  But she does have a brain imbalance that causes sensory intergration disorder, which causes abnormal fears.  Lacks comprehension, still holding on to infant reflexes, her hearing (she does not hear low tones which affects her ability to learn because she does not hear everything being said), and other things.  There is a great video that explains more HERE, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and look for:  Watch Our Appearances on WKYC Channel 3 To Learn More About The Program.

We have had a couple meetings with her teacher & principal at her school to discuss some of the problems they are seeing in ile & what steps we are taking to correct her issues. That's when I first found Brain Balance.
Brain Balance addresses the WHOLE child by integrating sensory motor training and stimulation and cognitive activities with nutritional and dietary guidelines. This unique integrated approach is key to what makes Brain Balance different and so effective.
There is no other program like this & what a blessing to have one in so close (Canton, OH).  Her school is familiar with Brain Balance & highly recommends it.  Which is another great thing about the program; they will send someone to ile's school to help her teacher and other staff members understand what she is going through & things to incorporate to help her succeed!

The obstacle for us as of now is insurance does not cover any of the cost of this program, which is $5,900.
SideNote:  She is on a waiting list for Pediatric Occupational Therapy (which ins. does cover); however, it is only 1 day a week for a 1/2 hour and she will need to be pulled out of school to be able to begin therapy sooner vs later. Whereas Brain Balance is 3x a week, after school; Saturday if need be, for an hour. Also, the occupational therapy does not offer the nutritional component & diet plays a HUGE role in overall health. I must say Brain Balance is right up my holistic alley!

GOD IN HIS BIGNESS has made a way to leap over the obstacles facing us!!! After praying & asking God to please provide a way without having to go into debt 2 ideas were presented:  

#1.  After speaking with the Brain Balance Program Director, I've been informed that a charity fund can be set up at a church for people to donate to in which monies donated can be used as a tax write off!  It's a win-win!  I thought, many times business owners are looking for a way to reduce earned income & this is a kind way to do so!  If you or anyone you know is a business owner looking to donate to a good cause & it can be used as a tax write off please contact me asap! The money will be accepted as a scholarship for ile.  This is actually an opportunity for anyone, not just business owners, to donate & use it as a tax write off as well!
#2.  Set up a Go Fund Me account.  I had never heard of this option before & view it as an answer to prayer!
