Funeral cost for Namine-McKenzie

Donation protected
It all started at 21 weeks, when my daughter went in for her first ultrasound, hoping to find out if she was having a boy or a girl, we were told some heartbreaking news. We were informed that the baby did not have any amniotic fluid,  an enlarged heart, and only see one kidney on the ultrasound, which was full of cysts. With love in our heart, we prayed everyday for a miracle. At 32 weeks her echocardiogram showed the heart was not as bad as they had thought, and we continued to pray that everything would be okay. Just over a week later, we had another ultrasound, to which the doctor explained to us that Namine may have what is called Potters syndrome.  We could deal with anything, as long as this precious baby was going to be okay. Just shy of 36 weeks, Kailee's water broke and she was sent to DeVos to be induced. When it came time to push, reality hit and tears were too hard to fight back. What was going to happen?  Was she really going to be okay? Or were we going to have to say goodbye too soon?  She was born at 1:23, and had to be intubated, yet she was taking breaths on her own above the respirator. We thought that our prayers were going to be answered, that the doctors were all wrong!  She was doing good, until the CO2 started to build up in her body because the oxygen exchange that is suppose to happen, couldn't. At 5:39pm, our precious Namine-McKenzie lost her fight in on this earth after just 4 short hours.  She came into the world fighting to prove everyone wrong, but her little lungs were just not strong enough.

It is hard for our family to ever ask for anything, but right now, we need some help.  We want to give this beautiful angel a funeral, but mom is unable to work (she is a waitress), and dad lost his job, therefore funding is very limited. The love and comfort we have received from everyone has been amazing. Thank you so very much, from all of us, to all of you!  Love you all!!
