Shropshire Buffs www.shropshirebuffs.btck.co.uk are fundraising for 'Hope House Children's Hospices ' at Oswestry and Conway during this year 2019. Please Help us to Help Hope House.
Hope House Children's Hospices www.hopehouse.org.uk Hope House in Morda, near Oswestry. and Ty Gobaith in Conway
provide palliative care, terminal nursing and respite care for life-limited babies, children and young people who are not expected to live beyond 25 years, and offers support to their families.
Hope House is a place where living is enjoyed and death is met with dignity.
Care is provided within the hospice or within the family home.
The catchment area is for children and families living in Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid and North Wales.
Counselling and bereavement support is available to those who have been affected by the death of a baby, child or young person (up to the age of 25 years old when they died).
Their death may have occurred in any circumstance.
This support can be received by children, young people and adults who live in Shropshire, West Cheshire, Mid and North Wales.
They do not need to have had any contact from Hope House Children’s Hospices prior to their need for bereavement support.
Counselling and bereavement support will be arranged in specialist counselling centres and if appropriate, in school for children and young people
Your help is vital so that we can provide the care and support that our children, young people and families so desperately need. We must raise over £6.3 million every year to maintain our services and receive just one month's funding from statutory bodies..
