Bone Crushers leg surgery
Donation protected
On March 4 my kids and I took our 14 month old shepherd/rottweiller mix, Bone Crusher to the vet thinking he had pulled a muscle. After some xrays we found out Bone Crusher has deformed femurs and luxating patellas. After a consultaion with a specialty center surgeon we were told Bone Crusher would need a luxating patella surgery along with a surgery to align his knee and femur to prevent anymore harm. As of right now we are going to go with surgery on his left rear leg and pray he wont need one on his right rear leg. Bone Crusher is a very outgoing, energetic and loving dog. Our children refer to him as their brother. This was completely unexpected for us and at the moment not doable as our daughter is going to be receiving genetic testing that is not covered as well. We will be doing our best to get the surgery done that Bone Crusher needs to continue to be a part of our family.
