9/11 illnesses keep me from working

As most who have a gofundme page, I am hoping people can help and my family suvive financially. I'm a paramedic from NYC that after 9/11 I began getting sick with various diseases( GERD, sinus issues, asthma, PTSD, and Multiple Sclerosis. I had to resign my position secondary to severe headaches, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as newly developed right sided numbness and gait and walking issues(falls). I have been told by my neurologist that I will never return to work as a paramedic. I have completed a bachelor's degree with hopes of getting into a graduate program to become a physician's assistant. I have exhausted all of my savings and retirement cash fund maintaining normal living at home(bills,mortgage, doctor fees ,etc) . I have been denied my social security disability and I am currently waiting for a court date( been waiting a year already). I've also contacted a lawyer that specializes in WTC cases and have been initially told that since I didn't take money and claim disability from 9/11 . that I would again have to fight in court for benefits. I am a foolishly humble and proud man who finds it very hard to ask for any help. My wife and I are 11 weeks from having our first child and I'm hoping people can help me and us out , so we can keep our house and insure a good life for our baby girl arriving soon. I thank every and anybody that is able and willing to donate. A little about who I am, I worked in NYC EMS for 21 years doing 911 runs, as well as being a Critical Care Paramedic transferring the sickest neonatal- adult patients. I have also gone to disaster regions with a group called NYCmedics.org and taught EMS classes internationally. I have been a giver my entire life and thank you in advance for helping me out now.
