In 2009 I fell on a wet floor and sustained serious damage to my C-Spine. Among other issues I have Vertigo and have fallen as a result of the Vertigo. Last year I fractured my wrist and soon I will be in the hospital to repair a knee I've fallen on too many times.
My MRI was 28 October 2017. I have noidea when the surgery will be.
I haven't been able to work since 2010 due to the injuries in 2009. My Social Security Disability Insurance award is enough to pay the usual bills (rent, utilities, food) but not for purchasing anything else.
Because my wrist was not set correctly, I can't ride bicycle anymore, which is why I ended up with a broken knee. I gave the bike I can't ride to my neighbor's daughter.
After surgery I will need crutches and possibly a brace (after the cast is off). I'll be unable to care for my gardens or the house for a long while. I'll have to have food delivered for a little while after surgery.
I'd like to be able to hire help while I recuperate and to buy a different style bicycle later so I can strengthen my leg muscles again without causing wrist pain.
I'm going into the hospital relatively soon and need to begin planning how much help I can fund.
