Memorial for Sister Barbara Brent

Hello,
On Christmas day 2014 we were all saddened to hear about Barbara's sudden death. This is a page to collect funds for a memorial bench in her memory.
We know that Barbara meant a lot to so many different people. To her nieces and nephews she was the often irreverent aunt who liked a good joke and would think of nothing about driving half the length of the country to see us, often with half the contents of the WHSmith's sweet counter in tow. She was a happy, engaged and interested aunt who we dearly miss.
To others she was among other things a colleague, a mentor, a sister, a teacher, a guide or simply just a really good friend.
In her memory we would like to have a bench placed in her name, located in one of her favourite spots in Felixstowe overlooking the sea.
Barbara's sister Sophie has spoken to the council, gained the needed permission and found the person who will be able to complete the installation. The total cost is estimated at £1200.
We thought this could be a convenient way to gather together funds in case there are other people who would also like to contribute. There is absolutely no pressure to contribute and equally no expectation about donation size: anything is welcome, especially comments.
Should we exceed our goal, we will donate the additional money to a charity. We would welcome suggestions in the comments section.
