Founder Toni Brooks shares her personal story of adversity that led to the organization's creation. Toni Brooks served in the US Armed Forces. Toni Brooks Foundation is a product of the personal challenges faced by Founder Toni Brooks. We support female veterans, domestic violence survivors and foster young adults in securing careers to grab hold of their independence. "I've worked many years on every corner of the fashion industry; Stylist, Designer, Consultant, Fashion Show Producer ...every single corner. After years within the industry, I decided to gather all of my contacts, partners, frenemies, etc and challenge them to make a difference for the amazing people that has survived unique challenges". We are happy to share the receipt of brand new clothing, accessories, hair and beauty products (over $300K in value to date) from well-known retailers such as Sephora, ECCOCI, White House Black Market, Paul Mitchel and etc. Join TBF in providing career readiness and placement through interview clothing and 1st week on the job work wear donations, mock interview sessions and resume writing. The funds are utilized to: 1. House the inventory, 2. Purchase equipment (garment racks, hangers, shopping bags), 3. Conduct seminars and workshops for three calendar months.
