VICTIM OF CRIME

I am a very upset mother. We just moved to Florida on 6/5/2017. 5-6 weeks later my 31 year old son went out to the Gentlemen's Club Icon on highway 19 in Pasco Florida. He does not know anyone here as we his parents decided to move for retirement and he chose to move with us. He was a kitchen designer for home depot of 9 yrs and 1 year with Lowes. When he came out of the club he was hit in the back of the head and knocked out. His upper lip was kicked off and his nose was broke in 4 places. He is now facing brain damage. We were told when we arrived at the hospital. (Bayonet Region Medical Center) that he head was jumped on 30 mins before the police got there. He has had reconstructive surgery already to fix his face and he is not done yet. His lower teeth were kicked into his gums. My son did nothing to deserve this. The Police report as stated is a felony battery, aggravated Injuries. Oct the 21st will be almost 3 months since this happened. In the mean time my son is getting bills left and right and can not work because he is under Dr care. He did not deserve this and he had a great future ahead of him that is now on hold. I am disabled and my husband Jon's step dad does not work as this was our retirement. We are trying to support our son the best we can but now we are running behind on all our bills due to helping Jon. My husband and I just want to know Why isn't the insurance company that this business is insured by paying for this. We need help. We need answers. Thank you so much for your time.
