Mya Johnson (Ovarian Cancer)

An unfortunate illness has disrupted young Mya Johnson's life.  Mya is a 13 year old girl who lives in Oakley, CA and has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer at a young age.  Hopefully the cancer was caught in time, as she recently underwent surgery at Oakland Children's Hospital and will continue her road to recovery with chemotherapy, staying at the hospital during treatment.  Mya's life has been interrupted, and she will miss out on school, time with family & friends, and playing softball.  During Mya's recovery and treatment her mother, Johanna, will have to take time off work to take her to her treatment's and stay with her at the hospital.  Mya is currently recovery from the surgery and will have to stay at the hospital for 2 weeks.  With a tough road to recovery ahead, Mya will miss the rest of the school year and will have to be home schooled until she can return to school next year for 8th grade.  Mya and her family need help right away!  The money raised from this gofundme account will help Mya and her famliy pay for medical expenses, supplement Johanna's loss of income, and help pay for the expenses of taking Mya to treatment and staying at the hospital during treatment.  Any help you can give is very much appreciated, and at a minimum please keep Mya and her family in your prayers.
