Why am I doing this campaign?
I want to remake my mom's children's book I made in 2014 and share her message of self love and positivity with as many people in the world. She wrote this story when our family was in a difficult place and I want to make her dreams come true by bringing her children's story to life and sharing it with the world.
What will the funds be used for?
The funds will be used to buy the equipment we need to redesign the art, self-publish it both in French and English as an eBook or even if possible a softcover or hardcover, and setup a website for the book with a blog that we'll post updates about this project.
Will people be able to read this story for free?
Yes, our plan is to publish the children's story freely on Webtoons. If you want to support our work and my mom's writing, you'll be able to purchase it as an eBook or regular book.
Other things I would love to do with the book is to give it life by turning it into a motion comic short film that will be available for free on YouTube.
I know it might seem silly for me to want to see my mom's dream come true of giving life to one of her stories, but I always had a passion of trying to make the dreams of the people I care about come true.
How soon do we need the funds?
Around the month of March of this year, my girlfriend and I will be working on the art and working the redesigns of the world I illustrated. So it would mean so much and warm my heart if you would consider helping a son trying to make his mother's dream come true by donating or sharing this campaign with others :)
My family and I went through so much in the past several years and I think it's about time in 2019 to share my mother's message of positivity to other people. If you are curious about the story the original book we made is still available online still available online (French version only).
