Moms Funeral Expenses

My mom Dalia Hernandez passed away at age 46 Thursday night (5-25-17) at 11:00 pm.  She began having trouble walking about 5 months ago.  After spending several weeks at the hospital and receiving several medical treatments, she was diagnosed with HLH, an immune system disorder. Shortly after her diagnosis she received one dose of chemo, which caused an eruption in her small intestine.  She had an immediate surgery which was taking too long to heal, ending the chemo treatments.  Soon after her surgery, she was discharged from the hospital and we took her to Dallas where our family provided us a place to stay.  While in Dallas, we took my mom in to Baylor Hospital for a second opinion.  The doctors gave her a life expectancy of 3 – 6 months and sent her home on hospice care to live the rest of her days at home with us, her family.  We ask for financial support for the funeral expenses.  

My mom was an amazing daughter, mother and friend to many.
