My fathers medical and funeral expenses

Donation protected
My dad, Randy Jessee, was taken to the Emergency room at Bristol Regional Medical Hospital at 1:30am on 3-7-19. He had an aneurysm stroke in his brain stem. He was put on a ventilator before he even had brain surgery at 7:00am that morning because he was no longer able to breath on his own. He lost all function very quick. He was in surgery for four hours. He was put into a medical induced coma. He could not have any stimulation at all to try and keep the swelling down in his brain. The doctor tried to decrease the sedation meds two separate days to try to wake him to see what we were dealing with neurologically. Within two hours of each try he had to be sedated again. His heart rate and blood pressure went through the roof. On 3-13-19 the doctor ordered another CT Scan. Doctor then called me with the results that afternoon. I received the worst news I’ve ever got in my life. His brain stem was severely damaged and I was told that he would never wake up again. He would have no function ever again. He had no brain activity. So I had two choices. I could stop the aggressive treatment and take him off the ventilator or I could put him in a long term facility still on the ventilator with 24 hour care for the rest of his life. My daddy always told me he never wanted to be on life support if he didn’t have a chance at a normal life. This was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life!! That day 3-13-19 I went to the hospital to spend the night with him along with his siblings. The next morning 3-14-19 I had to sign papers to have the ventilator removed. I still have a very hard time coping with this decision. I know this is what he wanted. He would not have had any quality of life. I could not let him live that way. So at 10:25am the ventilator was removed. My sister and I laid on each side of him in his bed with him until he passed at 11:07am. We just laid him to rest on 3-17-19. He did not have any life Insurance nor savings of any kind. I ask humbly for help. I appreciate you for any donation that you can make. Thank you so much and God Bless each of you.
