Hello everyone!!! My name is Ja'Quan Woo and I'm 19 years old. Ever since I was little I wanted to go to Korea to experience the culture. I am multi-cultural meaning that I am of Korean,African and Native American desent.
Around the age of ten I've wanted to go to Korea to learn more about my Korean heritage, but the timing has never been right until recently. Recently I was emailed about a chance for me to go to Korea for a very reasonable price. Not only will I learn more about Korean history, I will be able to study the Korean language at Yonsei University.
This trip will take place in September but I have to book things as soon as possible.
Since I am a average 19 year old, I don't have the funds to experience something as amazing as this. This is something that I've wanted to accomplish for almost 10 years of my life and I want to be able to say I acheived it. With wishful thinking, tenacity and a open heart I pray that you amazing people will help me to go on this journey. A journey of food, language and culture but also heritage from a culture I respect and am apart of.
I took the time to research the fees that will be needed for this trip and they will be listed below.
My expenses;
K-Tour - $2,699
Air Fare: $2,069.86
Cab Fair: $240
Luggage: $310
Food: $300
Total: $5,318.86
The remaining money will be for emergency's and other fees that may be applied.
Overall Goal: $7,000
Rewards: $30 - $100 - personal email to thank you
$110 to $450 - Social Media shoutout/Handwritten letter of appreciation
$500 & above - Social Media follow/Photos of the trip and personal email to thank you
