My Eagle Project (Beneficiary: BHS)

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Jack Gifford, a Boy Scout of Troop 432. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project. The Baltimore Humane Society Animal Shelter has a huge issue with rodents, causing them to have to throw out huge amounts of contaminated food. They cannot kill the rodents, because they are a no kill shelter. Their shelving is also old and deteriorating as well.
My project will be to build them approximately 18' of ~3' deep, ~9' tall shelves.  They will be built to fit the space exactly, and maximize their space. The shelves will be holding literal tons of food for cats, dogs, bunnies, and other animals, so they will also have to be quite sturdy. The money will all go towards building the shelves, and any leftover money will be donated to the shelter.  The goal for this fundraiser is to finish in the next 2.5 weeks(before April 12)

I love animals, and have owned many throughout my life. I want to give back to this fantastic, no-kill, friendly shelter.

Help me help this shelter!
Picture below shows they can only store their janitorial supplies in their storage space, all the food has to be hidden all over the property to try to keep it safe. The picture also does not show all of the shelves.
