My name is Alan, and I am an aspiring author... Sounds a little silly, 'aspiring' , since I am damn near 50 years old, but it is what I have always wanted to be, was writing my own little children's stories, as soon as I could write.
I have done many things in my life, such as unnecessarily risking abruptly ending it, numerous times. I have traveled, I have lived loved, fought and fiesta'd, and lately, I have settled down to have a family,,,, In short, I have something to write about... for example,

"As The Pole Turns"...tv series
"Fatherhood Over 40, or, What The Fork Was I Thinking?"...book

Brother Ted And The Tweekaderos"...book, short stories
"Hoover's Rebellion, Depression and Disunion", novel, alt. history
"Un-named Autobiographical Genealogical mystery"...book
These projects could all be done this year, with a little financial backing.......
Ironically, respiratory health issues have forced me to leave my job recently. Actually, my wife forced me, apparently she wants me around to see the kids get married... Though it is done, and I love being home for the kidz, we cannot afford it..... So my dream said put up or shut up.... Believe in yourself as much as she does, and get to writing....
So here we are..... my hope is that one, or many of these projects might pique the interest of readers enough to want to contribute to its completion, to buy in, if you will. perhaps a project is something you would want to read and/or invest in... Maybe with a substantial amount, for a negotiated return. Perhaps you are an old friend, just wanting to help a homie out. Hey, maybe you owe me money, or in some way, your life...I have saved a few in my day.. Maybe something I said to you, something I did, changed your life in some way.... Maybe you are just a kind person, who thinks a Dad who has worked hard all of his life, a Veteran, deserves a chance to stay home and raise his kids, while taking a couple of shots at the great american novel, or at least a good tv show....
