My dog needs back surgery and he is in a lot pain

My dog Tiko is in extreme pain and he can’t walk because he is paralyzed from the waist down because he was diagnosed with Intervertebral disk disease . It happened overnight, he couldn’t come outside the cage...I immediately went to the vet and they told me that a surgery was going to be necessary to make him walk again. Tiko was an active dog and now he’s unable to move for just a little to reposition himself in his bed he screams terribly and bites the cage and hits his head. I am destroyed to see him suffer like that. After all the happy moments I’ve been through with him. He’s my everything right now. I can’t afford a surgery right now. Please support, I would deeply deeply appreciate it...
