My D & C Surgery and Biopsy Fund

In November 2017, I had a hysterosonogram done that revealed an abnormally thickened endometrial lining, a large subserosal fibroid, a concerning amount of multiple sessile polyps, a endometrial lesion, as well as a lesion in the upper endocervical canal with a retroverted/retroflexed uterus. My Ob-Gyn has ordered a  D & C surgery with a hysteroscopy and biopsy. My surgery is scheduled on March 1st, and I am asking for help to fund this unexpected procedure. I do have HMO medical insurance and with my co-insurance, I am responsible for 25%, which is around $1,450. This surgery might help me with my horrible irregular periods, severe menstrual cramping, pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, as well as my current battle with infertility. The biopsy will also rule out or diagnose endometrial cancer or any pre-cancerous polyps, which is also why it is important to remove all existing polyps. This is a very personal topic, but I want to make sure that I inform people of why this procedure is so important. Having this done, gives me a better chance to conceive and have a healthier uterus. My fiance and I have been trying for almost a year with 3 months of hormone therapy, which was unsuccessful.
