MY CHILD WAS SERIOUSLY HURT BY PUNK BULLY'S

On Oct.5 2021 my son was playing basketball at the local public school. He was approached by 6 others who were trying to cause issues. My son was standing there talking to his friend's and was suckered punched blind sided by a bigger older kid. He had his hands in his pockets when he hit the ground hard. When my child tired to stand back up he was hit again kicked in the head and thrown back down. My child left of his own walking over 7 blocks to our house. He called 911 on his way but had no idea where he was. When he arrived home he was covered in blood, gushing from his mouth. Moments after he arrived home LaSalle Police arrivedat my home and within 10-15mins they called EMS and for very good reason. We were also sent a VIDEO of the entire attack, which was hell for any mom but helped the police and doctor's figure out and deal with the situation.

After arriving in Emergency and having a slew of tests we come to find out that his jaw is broken clean in half and there are fractures along the sides. On top of that his spleen is bleeding Medium Grade. He was in the hospital nearly a week and waiting for surgery. He received surgery at 7am on Saturday Oct.9 2021. He was in Surgery just over 3hrs. They repaired his Jaw and WIRED IT CLOSED. He can barely fit a Tylenol inside it.

Around 7pm the doctors told us we could take him home. It was thanksgiving weekend and wanted to to rest at home. The surgeon explained he could only have liquid diet for the first few weeks, then purred, mush diet then after about a month or so he could have soft foods.

We need to buy meal replacements Ensure, Boost, Similac ect $6.99-$7.99. He needs min. 6-8 bottles a day to keep his weight up and calorie intake up. Apple sauce, jello, puddings, ice cream, yogurts, anything LIQUID.

We also need blenders, Food Processors, anything to help with his recovery for thenext few months.
