My Best Friend Lost her Mother

Christmas day is a time to celebrate with family and friends and cherish the spirit of giving. The Burton family will now remember December 25th as the day they lost their mother.
Shauna Burton was driving home from her mother's house after enjoying Christmas dinner with her son, Savionne Burton and daughter, Quinnaya Williams, and their dog. Before they could reach their destination, they were involved in an accident that totaled their vehicle. Despite all odds, they were okay. Shauna went to check on the other vehicle, which had overturned on the side of the road in a ditch. While checking on the passengers of the vehicle, Ms. Burton was hit by an oncoming truck, and passed shortly after.
She leaves behind 2 daughters, Danielle Burton, 23, and Quinnaya, 3, and also 2 sons, Darren McCullum, 14, and Savionne, 17.
The loss of a family member is always tragic, but a mother leaves an unfillable void. Ms. Burton was on disability and unable to work because of a serious back injury that left her with screws and a metal cage in her back, and my friend, along with her family and friends, will be caring for the children.
Please find it in your heart to give this season during their loss; everything is appreciated. The money will go towards funeral costs, housing, food, and clothing for the surviving family. Shauna Burton, even in her death, was making sure others were okay, and her daughter does the same. It is a heavy burden to go from no children to 3 and Danielle would be forever greatful.
