Support for Austin
Donation protected
I am Austin McClintock’s aunt. He is a vibrant, outgoing, and respectful young man, with all of the promise in the world to live a full life. In July of 2018, Austin was involved in a traumatic car accident. He spent 42 days in the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and approximately 3 weeks in the Brenner's Children’s Hospital wing. After that, Austin was then sent to the Levine's Children's Hospital, in Charlotte, for a special program to treat him for the brain injuries he has suffered. One week after being in Charlotte, on day 56 of his recovery, Austin woke up out of the coma! On day 99 Austin was released to come back home to Stokesdale N, C. We are grateful to God for his progress so far. I am raising funds for his care, and we need your help.
Austin's mother lost her job 2 weeks after the accident and has now become his primary caregiver. Austin's sister changed her plans to go to college and has become an online student to be by her mother’s side for additional support. Now that Austin is home, he is re-learning to talk again, walk again, feed himself and to start life all over. While receiving physical therapy, Austin now has special needs and will soon be having surgery again. With his current needs, we want him to know he is not forgotten. Please help us by making a donation to aid Austin's care.
We are forever grateful for Austin's life. #AustinStrong
Thank you in advance for your anticipated assistance,
Robyn Chavis
Any support for his continual healthcare needs will be greatly appreciated.
