Lifetime care cat sanctuary
Who we are;
We are Cat Ranch Rescue, Inc; a non profit, no kill, cage free, free roam lifetime care sanctuary for cats. Located in the remote appalacian mountains we provide lifetime care for unwanted, abused, special needs, and feral cats in Graham County, NC. Since 2009 we have donated our time and land to make a virtual "Puddy Tat's Paradise" for the furkids we have rescued.
We have 2 acres fenced in for them to roam in and buildings they can go in and out of that are heated and air conditioned. A quarantine room and FIV room. We just finished building a nice feral cat building with a smaller outdoor enclosure.
We care for over 150 cats and even a few dogs! This ,as you can imagine ,gets very expensive. Even though we do everything we can to save money it still costs us $200 a day just to operate. That includes vetting, food, and anything the furkids need to be happy.
Being a small sanctuary we do not get the grants the larger rescues/shelters do and usually don't qualify because we are too far away from major cities. We are 2 hrs away.
Funding has hit an all time low for us partly due to the economy. Times are tough eveywhere. We are asking for your help for us to continue. Without your kind donations these cats would have nowhere to go.
What the funds are for;
We are raising funds to help with our operating expenses. These funds will go towards vetting and food which are our main expenses and to anything else the furkids need from bedding, litter, cleaning supplies etc.
All funds go directly to the cats care. We have no paid employees and get no government funding. Donations are down and our funds are critical at this point so we need help now.
We have had a good 6 years and hope to have many more. Our rescue means everything to us and we want to provide the best care possible for these kitties who have been through so much.
