Help a Senior with Cancer keep his home

Donation protected
Well-known local nature photographer and dog sitter, Robert Starkey, who will turn 70 this month, has been unable to work due to recent severe back and internal injuries and is at risk of losing his home. Friends have donated goods for fundraising garage sales, but Santa Rosa laws prohibit more than three sales a year per address. Neighbors offered their garages as host locations, but Robert's chronic back pain has gotten worse while moving the donations from place to place.
In the past few weeks, Robert has had two trips to the hospital and a severe reaction to an opioid pain killer that required additional treatment for complications.

At this point, Robert needs immediate funds for housing until he can return to work. Without rent money, he will be forced to move; In his current condition, such an effort would be both physically and emotionally excruciating.

Robert said: "On my 70th birthday, I thought it would be a celebration of a new decade, but I feel no joy right now. I am scared of losing my home, exhausted, and in constant pain. I am hopeful I will heal quickly and be able to return to my work."
