Thanks for taking the time to read my story, I'm Geoff, 33 from Devon, UK and i am a photographer.
I have been through some really tough times throughout my life, battled with depression and injury but no matter what i have always kept shooting and this has kept me going through it all.
I first started shooting when i was at school and after developing my first few rolls, i was hooked for life. I have had the fortune of shooting with the McLaren and Japspeed teams at Autosport International, Held my own events in Princesshay and been published in a few magazines. Despite all this sucess the cost of insurance, travel and marketing have left me struggling to upgrade my equipment to keep up with the current technology.
I have a strong background in Motorsports, Urban Street photography and more recently Equine events. I have been shooting these events with kit that is now starting to struggle to keep up with the taxing job of full days, high framerates and extremely fast moving subjects. Recently I have got some really promising upcoming oportunities in the equine world and would really love to be able to capture them to the fullest. I don't really want to start a fundraiser, but unfortunately with everyone thinking they are a 'photographer' it is very hard to get a well paying gig, so i am reaching out to the community for some help to take me to the next level.
If this is not enough to persuade you, i have set some rewards for donors;
The first 10 people who donate £20 or more will recieve a limited signed print from my street collection (free shipping in the UK)
All donors of £50 or more will receive a 20% discount off their next booking with UrbanFreesyle Photography.
