Help Kody Walk! Swimmer Syndrome

Saving Grace and Her Furry Friends Rescue was alerted to a dire situation! We immediately rushed to save Kody the Great Pyrenees puppy from certain death . Kody was "found" by a pet store owner and surrendered to a high kill animal shelter because he has swimmer puppy syndrome. This means his legs are splayed out to his sides instead of being underneath him. This leaves little Kody unable to stand, sit or walk. Without therapy Kodys lungs and heart cannot develop properly as his chest is flat and he .would eventually die.  It is believed that this syndrome was caused by filthy puppy mill circumstances where the nursing mom and puppies were unable to move or get any exercise Extensive physical therapy is required as well as a special harness and life vest for water therapy.
