K9 DEPUTIES FUNDRAISER

PATRICIA LANDFAIR'S 44th CYBER BIRTHDAY BASH FUNDRAISER! Damn, I'm getting up there.....
Rather than focus on the obnoxious, spiky grey hairs popping up at an unprecedented rate, the countless wrinkles that show years of love and laughter, or the severe damage gravity is doing to my body, I want to remember how INCREDIBLY blessed I am, and ask for your help!
My birthday goal this year is to benefit our community by raising funds for the THREE K9 Deputies who work for Jackson County Sheriff's Department in Southern Oregon.
Here are the items I would be honored to give to these hard working, four-legged furbutts:
~At least one K9 bulletproof vest, 2 if we raise enough money, and
~The funds to build comfortable, outdoor shelters for these hard working pooches, so when they get home after a long days work, they (like their handlers) have a lovely place to retreat to.
K9 deputies are some of the most fearless staff members, and will do ANYTHING to get the bad guys (and maybe get a little nibble reward). Unfortunately, this also makes them vulnerable because they will chase a bad guy down without a second thought about the suspect's intentions. The cost of having K9s on staff is ENORMOUS!!!!! Think about the cost of the dog, the training, the vehicles that must be designed for them, their food, their vet bills, and so much more.
As a community, we must understand that all of the needs to protect us are astronomical.
So how can we join together to make sure the K9 program stays alive, keep all of our deputies on the streets, and maybe even more, keep as many offenders off the streets as our jails can possibly hold, and SHOW THAT COMMUNITY LOVE TO OUR LOCAL HEROES!
The men, women, and K9s who work all over the world have the ability to run toward danger, while the rest of us run away. They have the courage to put themselves in dangerous situations to protect the masses (that includes you, me, and everyone we know).
Not only will this fundraiser help get some necessary items for our hard working deputy pooches, but it will also send a LOUD message to all law enforcement agencies that we have their back! If there is a need, we will help.
LAST THING....... I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU. ARE YOU THE KIND OF PERSON WHO WOULD WATCH AN OFFICER/DEPUTY/TROOPER IN A USE OF FORCE AND VIDEO TAPE IT? OR ARE YOU THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO WOULD JUMP IN AND HELP?

We will be doing daily updates, taking pictures of the progress and sharing it with you, and we will wrap up the event with a video of me handing Sheriff Nathan Sickler a big, fat check! (He doesn't know that last part yet, but I know he will be overwhelmed at the support received!)
