Music of Hope and Empowerment

Donation protected
Music of Hope and Empowerment is a benefit concert to fight hate and promote social justice. Local musicians will be playing music that inspires and empowers them and us. Music by local composers Thomas De Nicola, Patrick McCulley, and Stacey Phillips will be featured, along with music by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Poulenc, and others. All proceeds will be donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Repairers of the Breach (Rev. Dr. William Barber’s organization), and Causa Oregon.

Performers include: Trio Musicorum Medicorum, String Theory,  Mezzo Soprano Sadie Gregg, and musicians from Classical Revolution PDX and the Portland Music Collective.

We are setting up this page for people who are either unable to attend the concert, but want to donate to all three of the benefitting organizations, or for people who want to pay their suggested donation ahead of time, and want the convenience of us equally dividing the donation among the benefitting organizations.

Please note that a donation to GoFund Me does not give  you a tax deduction. For a tax deduction, please donate directly to the organizations.
