Nichole's Brain Surgery and Expenses

Donation protected
Nichole Nichols is a hard-working mother of 2, who recently was diagnosed with a brain tumor which has caused her to permanently lose her hearing in her right ear.   She comes to work every day, dealing with her symptoms of dizziness, frequent migraines, and constant ringing in the ear, unable to take the time off because she needs her leave to cover for the time, she has to take off to care for her 5-year-old son who suffers from various allergies and severe asthma. Between her and her son's medical treatments, this has caused a significant financial hardship.  Nichole will have to have brain surgery in 2019 and will have to take a minimum of 8-12 weeks off for recovery.  This would help with her medical bills, child care, and monthly bills. Nichole began treatments for her dizzy spells and migraines approximately 2 years ago and was always advised that her hearing was normal, although she told the doctors that she was having a hard time hearing and she had constant ringing in the ears.  After going to different doctors, she went and got her hearing tested at Sam's Club, due to their advertising of free hearing exams.  The results were traumatic.  She was told that her hearing was so bad that a hearing aid wouldn't help.  She took the results to her primary doctor who referred her to another specialist.  That ENT doctor, finally requested an MRI after all the doctors thought an MRI wasn't necessary.  After the discovery of the tumor she was told that she has lost her hearing in her right ear and even after the tumor removal, it will not return.  However, she was reassured that it isn't cancer and chances for the tumor to return is zero. Even with this life changing event, Nichole has only shared this information with only a handful of people.  She continues to be supportive to her friends and family, always willing to make them laugh and unaware of what she is going through.  For the friends and family that are aware of her condition, she remains positive and is usually the one comforting them about her tumor.  She is always there for others in need and never asks for any help for herself.   Let's show our love and support to our dear friend and sister. If there is anyone who deserves a helping hand it is Nichole.   Thank you in advance for your prayers, help and support.
