Muffin Gets A New Leg

Hi, I'm Muffin, a 2 year old Chihuahua mix. It's A Ruff Life Rescued me from China in August 2018. I came from a scary high kill Shelter in Shanghai, where the people weren’t so nice to me. A police Officer even tried to stomp on my little body. I was so scared I ran and hid in a drainage ditch. After three days of hiding, I was finally coaxed out by a caregiver. She smuggled me out in a purse and sent me to a dog hospital where a Dog Rescue, Animal Action Guanghzou (AAG), helped me. I was really dirty and my little body hurt. I had multiple abrasions and my skin was infected and full of bacteria. My little back leg didn’t work either. The nice people with AAG helped my skin get better, but they knew that my leg needed a little more help.

That’s where the nice people at It’s A Ruff Life Rescue came in. They flew me all the way to America where I got to meet my Foster Family. I was really scared at first and hid in my crate. You see, I’m still learning how to trust new people but now that I’ve been here a couple months,  I’m getting really good at it. My foster family is the bestest and they love me so much. My foster mom took me to an orthopedic doctor and he looked at my leg. Lucky for me, he said he can fix it with reconstructive surgery. This makes me so happy because sometimes my leg really hurts me. Now, I just need to figure out where to get $5,000 from to pay for it.  Will you help me by making  a tax deductible donation?
