Much love for Mimi

 
 
It is with great sadness this update is being shared.

On Tuesday August 7, 2018 
Mimi passed away in the morning.

She will be deeply missed by her children Annika and Risto, family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life for Mimi on August 18, 2018 in Calgary.

My mother Mimi was diagnosed in November last year with an aggressive form of Leukaemia which the doctors say is the hardest to get into remission. Work came to an immediate halt & she had to close down her business to start treatment. To make things even more difficult, one week after her diagnosis, her husband was unable to cope with the difficulties that are encountered from battling cancer & so he decided to leave Mimi & their two dependant children. 


Mimi has helped countless families all across Alberta through her work as an IBCLC, LLL leader, administrator and coordinator at Birthing Magazine, and working with new moms in all stages. 


Due to her inability to work & her husband abandoning her & the children, we are in desperate need of donations to help cover daily living expenses, food & medical expenses. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and helpful in relieving the daily financial stress and worry brought on by this event in our lives!
