Ms. Staci's Medical Fund

Hi, I'm Rev. Mark Bigelow and I am setting up this fund to help a loving and dedicated teacher of the Noah's Ark Nursery School. Ms. Staci, as the kids call her, has taught our three year old children with great care and compasssion. She is a teacher who would take the time for each individual child and always had a smile on her face and an ear to listen to their concerns. She is the role model of a pre-school teacher and many children had a great start on their education thanks to her. 

Unfortunately, last year Staci was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had to take time off from work last spring to battle the cancer. This is a particularly difficult form of cancer, but initially Staci made enough progress to be able to return to the classroom this fall. Sadly, the cancer has returned and she has had to stop teaching due to the illness. She has already endured surgery and two rounds of chemo and radiation therapy.  She faces additional treatments and the financial toll is extremely difficult on her and her family.

Staci Farrel is married to John and they have two children, Kaylee, 17 and John, 14. They have lived in Northport for many years. Being a preschool teacher brings many joys, but unfortunately financial security is not one of them. 

I'm asking you to join me in helping Staci and her family with their medical and other expenses related to her illness. All money will be withdrawn directly by Staci or her husband for their use. I'm the pastor of The Congregational Church of Huntington that runs the Noah's Ark Nursery School, here in Centerport, New York. Thank you for your help for Ms. Staci and her family.
