In just one month I will be starting my adventure leading a classroom full of amazing, talented, elementary students! I can’t wait to start my new life as a teacher, but first I need a little help from family and friends.
In order to give my students access to a high quality educational environment, I am starting a GoFundMe to help build a classroom that allows my students to learn and grow. On average, teachers spend between $500-$600 of their own money on supplies for their students. Since I don’t have a paycheck yet, even the smallest contributions to my goal add up to make a big difference! The money I raise will be spent on smaller items like pencils, paper, folders and journals for my students, but also bigger things like pillows and a speaker to play relaxing music for the “Calm Down Corner” in my classroom.
It is so important to me that I give my students everything in my power to help them succeed. A little help from others will go a long way in creating Ms. Dana’s classroom!
