Hi!
I am hoping you all can help me out with something. Throughout the summer I have been caring for the family of a teacher in the Bellingham, MA school system. Her husband has fought a tremendous and unexpected medical battle that had required the love and support of his family and friends physically, mentally and financially 24/7 since Jan 2019. Mrs Blanding had to emergently leave her classroom to care for her critically ill husband last February. In May her classroom was switched and they threw away her rug for reading time. The new regulations require a fire retardant one ($) and hers was tossed as she was not there take it with her when the school year ended.
The school like many doesn’t provide money for teachers to get school supplies for their classroom/kids. She has had to give everything the family had to caring for her husband and her budget for classroom supplies/furniture is depleted. She feels horrible sending out the list to her new students parents for school supplies to purchase as it has to be much larger this year then in the past due to her own financial strains.
This family is kind hearted, honest, generous and true fighters. Can you please help me get Mrs Blandings 4th grade classroom some money to get supplies/furniture? I think this would mentally and physically help Mrs Blanding and her students kick off a great school year!
*The money raised will go directly to classroom supplies for the kids in her classroom.
