On Saturday April 13th around 1130pm my big sister Cheryl Lynn Cwiklik was struck down by a vehicle while crossing Rt37 in Toms River and was killed on impact. My mother and I received this information early Sunday morning and our lives as well as her surviving sons, Fabian Ortiz and Vincenzo Sicoli , have been torn apart. Cheryl was a beautiful, talented, dedicated hard working single mother and veteran of the military. PFC CHERYL CWIKLIK, She was a Specialist E4 with Company C 250th Forward Support Battalion serving from 1998-2003. ( CHARLIE COMPANY) She was placed at ground zero after the towers fell, she fought for her community, her fellow citizens and her family. She never left the Jersey shore and has worked tirelessly to "Restore the Shore". This woman didn't deserve to die this way. My sister' memory needs to be honored and never forgotten. My mother and I are asking for your help in preparing services as well as her cremation. Anything is more than appreciated. A soldier, daughter, sister, wife and mother... She deserves to rest in peace properly.
