Mr. Al's Retirement Gift

At long last, we can confirm the rumors are true. After 38 years of service to AACPS with over 21 of those years at Bodkin Elementary School, Alvin “Mr. Al” Talley has announced his retirement for this December. So while we all may feel crazy sad at this news, we are going to wipe away our tears and put on our party hats because we plan to send Mr. Al off with smiles, cheers, and Hip Hip Hoorays!!!! This beloved man deserves no less. To give this exceptional man the excpetional send off that he deserves, the Bodkin PTA has started a gift fund in his honor. Please help us spread the word throughout the ENTIRE community including any and all of Bodkin's current and alumni families.  The funds will go directly to Mr. Al to use for his retirement travels.  Please consider contributing to this group gift. Mr. Al has given so much to our community. It's our turn to give to him.  

Any information will be shared with any celebration plans. We plan to keep celebrating Mr. Al until he retires.  Funds will be collected until December 15th. Please share, share, share and help us get the word out to the entire community. Thank you so much for your support.
