Youth with a Mission

Dear friends and family, I would like to share with you an opportunity that God has put on my heart and in my life in the last few months.  At the age of 16, I was introduced to a program called YWAM (youth with a mission) and ever since then, I have felt called to be a part of this program.  For years, despite my pursuit, God made clear it was not in his timing for me to begin that journey.  However, this past year God has opened many doors and has made this opportunity available to go through a discipleship training program in New Zealand. 
The course is a full-time program and lasts five or six months.  It consists of two parts:  lecture phase and outreach phase.  In the lecture phase, I will learn more about God and His world.  I will learn not only from lectures but also from community living and practical training.  The outreach phase focuses on applying what I have learned in the classroom through an intense, cross-cultural experience. In this program I will be learning more about God and who he is and how to apply his word to daily life and the lives of others. My faith will continue to grow as I am leaving my home and pursuing the will of God in my life. On the outreach phase, we will be in a third world country evangelizing and spreading God’s love and his light over a 2 month period.(I will not find out which one until the lecture phase is completed) I am so excited to start this journey that God has set out for me.  I would love it if you would prayerfully consider being a part of this ministry through supporting me financially and through prayer.  The program cost $7,000, which is all inclusive.
